Cross Section of a Volcano

Here is my cross section of a volcano created on google draw. We made a cross section because mrs Anderson said that we need to learn how to do a labeled picture, so this was what we did this morning. We all had to draw our own volcano and put labels on the things that were needed to be labeled. You can create one if you would love to, and you can do this on google draw.

Mahdia Hidding

As you can see I have made a picture of Mahdia hiding behind of of the New Zealand boulders and for we were tort this by Miss Paton and her students.  We cut out the picture on clippingmagic.com and posted it on plxr.com, but in this you can choose any photo you want to go with it like I have chooses the New Zealand boulders.

Monthly Blog Posts Poster

HEre is a poster that I have made on how many blog posts I have each month this year and how I have improved that. This graph was created on spreedsheet and before we did the graph we wrote the name of the months from Feburary to August, and then wrote the number of posts I have on each month. Then you highlight everything on the spreedsheet and click on the chart sign at the top. THen you make your own chart.

Water Cycle poster

Yesterday we Mrs Anderson organized an amazing activity that would help us to make our own poster on the water cycle.  In this post it is shows and explane everything that the water does when it rain, get gathered up, the energy of the sun and how it forms into clouds.  This is how the water cycle works, and it never stops.

Room 9 Swimming

Room 9 have been enjoying their pool session and are making the most they can. Yesterday we didn't have that much time because we had other things to do, but we went over the skills that Mrs Anderson wanted to see if were capable in the water and see what we need to work on. Later on we played a game called seahorse tiggy and they played room 9's secret game.

Maths Number line

Today we finished of our 100 square maths grid from yesterday and we've all been working collaborative and we've all done an amazing job. Before we did our number line we cut of the hundred squares we were given and turned it into a number line. Later on we glued them on a piece of paper and skip counted in 3 and started at the number 36, after that we took a look at our number line and noticed the patterns, and they were that there were 3 and 9 times tables, it goes odd, even, odd, even and on our hundreds square they go diagonal.

Character Description

Mount Tongariro:

Mount Tongariro is a strong, friendly, fit, noble, sensitive and sentimental.  He stands up proud of himself and also represent himself in a sensitive and more grown up way.

When Tongariro fought Taranaki he fought his own friends for the love of his life, he didn’t fight his own friend because he was jealous he fought his own friend because they're fighting for the love of their life.

Mount Taranaki

Mount Taranaki is rude, violent, disrespectful and cannot be trusted with anything, he also is well known as having a really really bad temper.

Later on in the story it said that he was being teased and was being treated bad, but in Mount Tongariro’s heart he was still a true friend.

Mount Pihanga

Mount Pihanga is lovely, gentle, soft hearted, sweet, caring, sensitive and loyal.

When she turns she turns swiftly and gently, and she is also really kind to everyone, this is the reason why the mountains fought for the love of Pihanga.

Mount Tauhara

Mount Tauhara is useless, sneaky, a coward, but was also known as very romantic.

When he lost the fight for the love of his life (Mt Pihanga) he felt humiliated but as he made his runaway he took  a last peak to remember the face of his lovely looking Pihanga.

Mount Putauaki

Mount Putauaki is just like Mount Tauhara but he’s more like a chicken and is a coward.  He sneaked behind Mount Tongariro and silt hot boiling larva.

As Mount Tongariro won the fight he was ashamed of himself and made his escape by using the cloak of the darkness.

Typing Test week 2

Air Riffle

During camp on Saturday we were organized to do fun activities and this was the one of the activities.  We had lots of fun and a lot of us hit our target, and hopefully we get to have another go.

Google Academy Challenge

Here is an activity that Miss Paton did at the Google Academy and we were given the honour and have a try, and many of us missed on our first times and some of us didn't.  As I had my first go of this challenge I failed and on my third time I got the mentos in "yay."  When you get the mentos in the coca cola bottle then the coca cola would start fizzing.

Miss Paton's Google Acadame

Today we celebrated Miss Paton's success for her Google Academy and we are very proud of her.  While she was there she meet around 514 teachers and leaders and her team name was call "Team Wright."  She received a goody bag and in that she had her certificate and a badge that she was presented with during their prize giving, and in her bag she also won a alien beanie and she won that in a game, and the game was for you to get a mentos into the bottle of coca cola.  During her time she meet new friends, learnt new things and most of all she had fun.  We are really proud of Miss Paton's success and hopeful she get an invitation to lead one of the course at the Google Academy.
